On behalf of the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Region V, and in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Illinois State Historic Preservation Officer regarding the Metra 59th/60th Street Station Rehabilitation Project, Cook County, Illinois (MOA), executed April 15, 2024, at the links below please find the Comment Matrix Addressing Consulting Party Comments on the Draft Interpretive Elements (IE) and the Final IE for the Metra 59th/60th Street Station Depots.
The Final IE, as required under MOA Stipulation III. A., has been prepared to be in conformance with the Standards and Practices for Interpretive Planning from the National Association for Interpretation, to be consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, and contains the final content and design that incorporates recommendations received from Signatories and Consulting Parties during the draft review and comment period.
In accordance with Stipulation III. A. 2. of the MOA, Metra has submitted the Final IE to FTA for review and comment. The Final IE incorporates comments received from FTA. The next step in this process is for Signatories and Consulting Parties to review and provide comments on this final design.
