Earth Day 2026 Cleanup at Jackson Park

We are gathering on Saturday, April 18, to continue to beautify the east side of our beloved Jackson Park. Last year we cleaned the harbor’s edge. This year we will beautify the area around La Rabida and the Jackson Park Yacht Club.

We will meet in front of La Rabida Hospital beginning at 8:45am. We will have bags and gloves for all participants picking up litter and debris. We will complete our activity by 11am. All participants will be asked to sign a Chicago Park District waiver prior to participating.

This event is part of a citywide Earth Day Cleanup initiative co-sponsored by the Chicago Park District and Friends of the Parks, in partnership with the Jackson Park Advisory Council. If you have questions regarding this event, please email [email protected].
