Park Contacts

Jackson Park is a large and complex park, and different entities are responsible for different parts of it. The intention of this page – which will always be a work in progress – is to help community members understand who is responsible for what areas and to provide contact info that you can use if you have questions or concerns.

Jackson Park Fieldhouse

Japanese Garden

• Located at the north end of the Wooded Island.

Jackson Park Bowling Green

• The historic lawn bowling green and clubhouse are located southeast of Science Drive, immediately west of DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
• The Lakeside Lawn Bowling Club plays regularly on the green. Learn more about them on the Lakeside Lawn Bowling Club website or email [email protected].
• The Chicago Croquet Club plays regularly on the green. More info is available on the Chicago Croquet Club website and they can be contacted at [email protected].

Jackson Bark

• An unofficial dog park with obstacles located in the former tennis courts west of DuSable Lake Shore Drive, south of 59th Street Harbor, north of the Driving Range (map). Access is from the north via the Music Court Bridge.
